CFRRSC Meeting Minutes for 06-23-09 7:10 pm

 

Present: Margo Reichart, Rose and Jerry Peterson, Don and Colleen Fogle, Mike Peterson, Deb B, Tony and Beth, Leaha, Lexi Banitt.

 

Treasure Report:

Checking account: $1196.04

Savings Account: $515.86

Invoices Paid: Yahoo Business account for Website $13.00

Total in Checking and Savings $ 1737.96

 

Outstanding Bills $56.00

Motion made to pay outstanding bill, and passed.

 

Secretaries Report:

No corrections or additions Motion made to approve secretary’s report and passed.

 

Arena Cleanup:

Clean up was successful and thanks to the fine work of all present the arena looks good.  Tony Banitt received some extra speakers.  Tony and Brian placed extra speakers on the phone so all could hear further down the parking area.

 

Food Committee:

Rose Peterson and Colleen Fogle has been busy picking up all the food supplies for the shows.  They have been very diligent on watching for sales to save the club money on the food cost for all of the events we will be hosting this year.  Coke trailer for the 4-H show and the Ranch Rodeo with be here next Friday.

 

GCSCA:  The date and time for the next end of the year awards banquet again will be held at Grandpa’s Garage.  Social hour will be at 6:30 pm, Dinner will be at 7:30 pm and awards will begin at 8:30pm.

 

Old Business:  None reported

 

New Business: 

Information was provided that there may be concern that Geo City will be shutting down and some clubs will lose their websites.  CFRRSC uses Yahoo Small Business web provider so there will be no interruption with our website.

 

Suggestion was made that we should be a part of the City Wide Garage sale to see if we can get some funds together.  Any items that would be donated as a fundraising for the club would be used at the sale.  Deb B will check on the dates of the City Wide sale.  There is some concern that it falls on Champ show weekend.  Further discussion will need to be done on where and people to run the CFRRSC garage sale.

 

Margo has a truck and trailer that we will use for the July 4th parade.  Decorations will be done over at Cannon Trailer Sales on July 3rd at 7 pm.

 

Next meeting will be held at the Arena on July 28th at 7 pm unless the weather is bad.  Then it will be held at St. Ansgars Church.
